Pooja is a passionate writer – wishes to be Ticketmaster India’s in-house storyteller someday. Currently, she’s thinking of penning the anecdotes she’s picked up in her 25 years of professional life. “I wish the world connects with them,” she says.

A straight-A and gold medallist throughout her academic life, Pooja stepped into the profession with an MBA in Finance and Marketing. She travelled in India and the world with Motorola, then GE, the Citigroup, Fidelity and the ICICI Group. Business operations, development, communication, HR, all have taught her rich and wide lessons in the industry, which she brings inside Ticketmaster India. One of these insights is that corporate complexities are defeating common sense in people. “There is no substitute for logic. You don’t have to be somebody to be somebody.”

Having interacted with millions of people in her career and assessing thousands of situations, Pooja says humour is the best lens in problem-solving. She wants to share with the world hilarious short stories that drive strong messages.

Upbringing in a joint family in India’s capital New Delhi has taught her a big lesson – balance love and relationships with career -- a philosophy that she stuck to when she left her job at the peak to become a full-time mom to her daughter.

Pooja returned to profession with Ticketmaster because she felt the place nourished a different kind of energy -- people were deep into their jobs and, at the same time, aspired to be good human beings. She believes that the culture she’s helped develop fosters Ticketmaster India employees to shed the mask and deliver to their full potential. Pooja is proud to have witnessed Ticketmaster India grow from 90+ people to more than 400 in a span of seven years.

Personally, Pooja likes to take it a day at a time, making each day better than yesterday. Her mission every day: Learn something new, deliver something new, fix something new and influence someone new.
